About Reflexology
What Is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy based on the principle that specific points on the feet, lower legs, hands, face, and ears correspond with different areas of the body. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, reflexologists aim to support the body’s natural healing processes and restore balance.
As a reflexologist, I work holistically, considering your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Reflexology can complement conventional healthcare to promote better overall health.

Is Reflexology Suitable for Me?

Reflexology is a gentle therapy that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from new-borns to those receiving palliative care. However, certain health conditions may make reflexology inappropriate. If you're unsure, simply contact Sole Sanctuary, and I’ll be happy to advise you.

Will Reflexology Help Me?

While reflexologists do not diagnose, prescribe, or claim to cure, many people find reflexology helps them feel more relaxed, sleep better, and enjoy a greater sense of well-being. Like any therapy, results can vary from person to person—the best way to find out is to try it yourself.

Reflexology is tailored to you as an individual, considering both physical symptoms and emotional factors. After a session, clients often report a noticeable reduction in tension and improved mood, sleep, and energy levels. Although some research has shown promising results, there is currently not enough scientific evidence to make clinical claims about reflexology's effectiveness.

A Supportive Approach to Well-being

With modern life's growing levels of stress, many people are turning to complementary therapies as part of a more proactive approach to their health. Reflexology may offer a supportive way to reduce stress and encourage the body’s natural balance.

Please remember that reflexology should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment or advice.
